Established in 1986, BetterHomes currently has offices and franchises across the region, connecting people locally and globally with its 400+ plus team of certified consultants and staff, supplemented by an extensive property database, magazine, and interactive website.

Offering easier ways to discover lucrative real estate opportunities, the company has grown to become one of the Region’s most recognised and respected brands, specialising in residential and commercial property, property management, short-term rentals, and off-plan.

Brendon Gonsalves, Senior HR Executive at BetterHomes, explains “The previous software company we used lacked support and had many system errors, it was complicated and had complex reporting tools”

“Our top priority was to launch an employee self-service portal that has to be user friendly, can be accessed via the mobile application, as well as include customizable reporting tools”.

When asked what made Yomly stand out compared to other cloud-based HR software’s in the market, Brendon explained “Yomly is very user friendly, offers great flexibility for customization based on our requirements and is cloud-based which was exactly what we were looking for”.

The Solution

In late 2018, BetterHomes chose Yomly to provide a cloud-based, user-friendly, and customizable HR & Payroll Solution.

“With Yomly we are able to add multiple companies and groups into the system. Our staff can view/download their own payslips and documents directly from the portal, as well as check their annual leave balance via the calendar and apply for leave directly”.

“In terms of ROI, we have already seen an increase in productivity given it’s a great technology platform for our employees to use,” says Brendon.

“Overall, our team has been most impressed with the platforms layout, display, functionality, and clearly defined tabs making it simple to navigate and get our job done quicker”.
